ACHD Mobile App Privacy Policy

The Association of California Healthcare Districts, Inc. (“ACHD”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information associated with the ACHD Annual Meeting mobile application.

Information We Collect

Information available through or provided to the mobile app may include information submitted during event registration or while using the app, such as your name, email address, organization, job title, profile information, and other information you choose to provide.

Information may also be generated through your use of event features, such as session participation, surveys, networking features, and other interactions within the app.

How We Use Information

ACHD may use information associated with the mobile app to:

  • Provide access to Annual Meeting information and services
  • Display event schedules, sessions, speakers, sponsors, and other conference information
  • Enable attendee profiles and networking features
  • Send event-related communications and notifications
  • Administer surveys and other attendee engagement features
  • Support and improve the Annual Meeting experience

Event Technology Provider

ACHD uses PheedLoop, a third-party event technology provider, to power the Annual Meeting mobile application and related event services. Information may be processed by PheedLoop on ACHD’s behalf as necessary to provide these services.

Sharing of Information

ACHD does not sell personal information collected through the Annual Meeting mobile application. Information may be disclosed to service providers, including PheedLoop, when necessary to operate the app and provide event-related services, or when required by law.

Information that attendees choose to make available through networking or profile features may be visible to other event participants based on the features and privacy settings available within the application.

Data Security

ACHD and its service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of electronic transmission or storage, however, can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention and Deletion

ACHD retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide event services, fulfill legitimate organizational purposes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain appropriate organizational records.

Users may contact ACHD to request access to or deletion of personal information associated with the mobile application, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

Your Choices

Users may choose what optional information they provide through their attendee profile and may manage applicable notification and device permissions through their mobile device.
