Mandatory Ethics (AB 1234) Training

This two-hour session fulfills the AB 1234 Ethics Training requirement for public officials. Topics include ethics laws, financial conflicts (Political Reform Act & Gov. Code 1090), perks, transparency, and fair process.

Important Reminders:

  • No late entry will be allowed.
  • Attendees must stay for the full two hours.
  • Sign in and out on ACHD’s official sign-in sheet to receive credit.
  • Certificates of Completion will be emailed after the conference to each district and distributed to attendees by their district.
  • Lunch will not be provided, please plan to eat prior to attending the session.

Presenter: Thomas Rice, Town Attorney for Apple Valley and legal counsel to multiple public agencies, including healthcare districts.
