Step 2: Log In
Once you download the app:
- Open the ACHD Annual Meeting App.
- Enter your email address you used to register for Annual Meeting
- A verification code will be sent to your email address.
- Enter the verification code in the app to log in.
Tip: If you don't receive your verification email right away, check your spam or junk folder.
Step 3: Use the App:

Get ready for a little friendly competition!
Throughout Annual Meeting, attendees will have opportunities to earn points and climb the leaderboard through activities in the ACHD Annual Meeting App.
You may find opportunities to earn points by participating in conference activities, attending special events, interacting during Annual Meeting and discovering special codes along the way.
Hint: Keep your eyes open — there may be a few hidden opportunities to earn bonus points throughout the conference!
More information about the leaderboard and ways to earn points will be shared before Annual Meeting and available in the app.

For the Awards Reception, we invite you to have a little fun with our nautical theme and dress for the regatta! Think yacht club, coastal chic and nautical-inspired attire — polos, sundresses, boat shoes, stripes, blazers, captain-inspired looks or anything that makes you feel ready for an evening by the water.
SB 827 Mandatory fiscal and financial training

Location: San Carlos 3-4
Training Description: Senate Bill 827 (SB 827), effective January 1, 2026, requires covered local agency officials to complete mandatory fiscal and financial training every two years. Newly appointed or hired officials are also required to complete the training within six months of assuming office or employment.
Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK), in collaboration with public finance professionals from Regional Government Services (RGS), will lead this training designed to satisfy SB 827’s mandatory training requirements while providing practical, real-world guidance on financial oversight and the stewardship of public resources.
The training focuses on the core fiscal responsibilities of public agency officials and staff, with actionable instruction on budgeting, financial controls, long-term planning and risk management. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of their legal and fiduciary obligations, common financial pitfalls facing public agencies, and best practices that promote transparency, accountability and fiscal sustainability.
Designed for elected and appointed officials, executives and staff with fiscal responsibilities, this program is appropriate for agencies seeking to meet SB 827 requirements while strengthening sound financial governance.

Important Reminders:
- No late entry will be allowed.
- Attendees must stay for the full two hours.
- Sign in and out on ACHD’s official sign-in sheet to receive credit.
- Certificates of Completion will be emailed after the conference to each district and distributed to attendees by their district.
- Lunch will not be provided, please plan to eat prior to attending the session.
