The Tri-City Healthcare District serves its community in many ways. In addition to providing medical care and wellness programs close to home, it has a tradition of giving back to the community through its annual community health grants. This year, 22 organizations received $475,000.
Each year, the healthcare district’s board of directors allocates funds for healthcare projects run by non-profit agencies located in or serving the citizens of Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Vista. This year, 64 organizations applied for funding for programs that address the healthcare district’s priority issues: access to healthcare, health conditions related to lifestyle and mental health.
