After a three-year journey, Sierra View Medical Center (SVMC) has received the first Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative designation in Tulare County.
Achieving Baby Friendly is a process that requires a multitude of phases to be completed. SVMC accepted the challenge of proving to be worthy of the Gold Standard of Care in 2013, but implemented Baby Friendly training and education as early as 2010. Click here to view the full article.
