National Stress Awareness Month

April is National Stress Awareness Month, to highlight the negative health effects that long-term stress has on our bodies. Negative effects include headaches, stomach disorders, depression, and even heart disease.

Here are five ways to relieve stress:

1. Step away for a moment and take a few big, slow, deep breaths

2. Get moving and exercise to increase your endorphins

3. Laugh

4. Connect with the people you love

5. Know it's okay to say "no"
