In recognition of National Volunteer Week, Mark Twain Medical Center will honor its volunteers this week. Service Awards will be given out for the number of hours each volunteer has given to the hospital.
Miriam Truemper, 94, has given 11,800 hours of her time cumulatively over the years to MTMC. Others to be recognized for their extraordinary number of hours of service are Joanne Edelmaier (7,800 hours), Deana Brown (7,700 hours) and Florence Alberts (6,700 hours).
