"Beach Cities Health District realized that we need to create opportunities for people to be physically active," said Dr. Lisa Santora, the chief medical officer for the district.
Santora said the district has 25 studios featuring 30 classes from Manhattan Beach down to Redondo Beach.
There is yoga, Tabata, hip hop fusion, Pilates, cycling, strength training, boot camp and more. Each class uses unique fitness tools and toys with top trainers.
"To keep the spice up to keep it diversified. People get bored with their fitness routine so we want to make sure that they get a taste of everything," Santora said.
"Fitness should be fun no matter what you're doing and sometimes it's hard to find what you enjoy," said Kim Lyons, co-owner of Bionic Body.
