ACHD is pleased to report that our sponsored bill, SB 957 (Hueso), was signed by the Governor on August 26th, 2016. Find the Governor's press release here.
As you'll recall, SB 957 will authorize California Healthcare Districts that own or operate hospitals or clinics to utilize the design-build process for the purpose of building health care facilities.
Thank you for all your support of this measure, which is critical for District Hospital construction projects. The bill will take effect on January 1, 2017.
