Joshua Tree, CA—Nursing is a calling and if you are a Morongo Basin Resident enrolled in the Registered Nursing program at Copper Mountain College with a desire to give back to your community, then the Hi-Desert Memorial Healthcare District Foundation may be able to help you answer that call.
The Hi-Desert Memorial Health Care District Foundation is now accepting applications for the Martie Avels Nursing Scholarship, which is awarded to one student each year. The scholarship provides for courses and books for up to two years, the time required to complete the RN program. Scholarship awardee agrees to work at Hi-Desert Medical Center for two years upon successful completion of state nursing boards.
