SEIU-United Healthcare Workers West on Monday launched radio ads in support of two initiatives it’s working to get on the statewide ballot.
The ads are airing on various Sacramento radio stations and on Pandora Internet Radio. The union representing hospital and health careworkers said the $66,000 weekly buy of ads calls attention to high hospital costs and executive salaries that it says are pricing health care out of reach for many Californians.
