The Association of California Healthcare Districts seeks to acknowledge a California Healthcare District for their commitment to improve the health the communities they serve.
Criteria
The ACHD Districtof the Year Award recognizes a District that has made notable impacts. A nominated district must be certified at the time of submission, a member of ACHD, nominated by a Trustee or Executive Staff of a district, completed the form by June 29th, 2018, and have attended an ACHD educational event. The nominated district must attend the Annual Meeting to be presented the award.
Process
Nominations are solicited by the Education committee and reviewed by an outside panel of experts. The Districts will be ranked on the specific initiatives they implemented, what need there was for the initiative, how it can be used in other districts, and how creative or innovative it was.
The winner of the District of the Year award will be announced at the ACHD Annual Meeting during the Awards Reception on September 13, 2018 at the Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach.
