Through the American Rescue Plan Act 2021 (ARPA) California is expected to receive $26 billion dollars to use for COVID-19 relief broadly, through December 2024.
ACHD is asking that the State and Legislature approve a $32,000,000 expenditure of the state's Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funding, specifically for healthcare districts directly providing services aimed at pandemic response and recovery.
Relief funding can be used toward:
- Cost incurred related to COVID-19
- Future costs related to COVID-19
- Lost, delayed or decreased revenue
