ACHD is very excited to announce a special addition to the website. The California Healthcare Districts Interactive Map launched today and can be found under the “Resources” tab. This map allows you to see all of California’s 78 Healthcare Districts and the legislative and congressional districts representing each one.
Additional features of the interactive map include:
- Easy access to Healthcare District boundaries in a Google map format
- Hover over each District to quickly get information about the District. Click on the District to freeze the information box or to click on the hyperlinked District name. Click that District again to unfreeze the information
- Addresses, county, legislative and congressional district information for all Healthcare Districts
- ACHD Member Districts are linked directly to their websites
- Check the County layer in the information box to view all county lines in blue. Hover over a particular county to see the county name appear in the information box. Click on a specific county to freeze this information; click that county again to unfreeze the information
- Check the Senate district layer in the information box to view the Senate boundary lines in red. Hover over a particular Senate district and the district number will appear in the information box. Click on a specific district to freeze this information; click that district again to unfreeze the information
- Check the Assembly district layer in the information box to view the Assembly boundary lines in green. Hover over a particular Assembly district and the district number will appear in the information box. Click on a specific district to freeze this information; click that district again to unfreeze the information
- Check the Congressional district layer in the information box to view the Congressional boundary lines in orange. Hover over a particular Congressional district and the district number will appear in the information box. Click on a specific district to freeze this information; click that district again to unfreeze the information
ACHD created this new tool to better understand where Healthcare Districts are located, the communities they serve, and the Legislative/Congressional Districts that represent them.
