ACHD is now offering regional education events to bring education and networking opportunities to your district! Given the current ongoing pandemic, the first events in 2021 will be conducted virtually. However, we hope to see you in-person for additional trainings and workshops in Fall 2021!
Our regional education events will be followed by a one-hour networking event with other healthcare districts in your area. The February 23rd event is targeted toward the Northern and Bay Area regions of the state, and the March 9th event is targeted toward the Central and Southern regions of the state. However, please note that both dates are open to all districts!
Presented by dynamic attorneys, this fun, informational, and interactive workplace harassment prevention training will educate Healthcare District officials and staff on how to identify, prevent, and properly respond to workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct in order to avoid personal and District liability. With an overview of the #MeToo movement, California’s legislative response to the #MeToo movement, current and evolving legal issues and trends, and a focus on practical steps and solutions to ensure a respectful workplace, this is not your average harassment prevention training. This training is compliant with AB 1825/2053/1661 and SB 1343.
Please note, attendees will be required to attend the full live training for 2 hours in order to receive their certificate.
