ACHD Names Assemblymember Rocky Chávez 2014 Legislator of the Year

Sacramento – April 14, 2015 – At the Association of California Healthcare District’s (ACHD) 2015 Legislative Day on April 13, 2015, Assemblymember Rocky Chávez (R-Oceanside) was recognized as the Association’s 2014 Legislator of the Year.

Assemblymember Chávez was selected for this award in recognition of his voting record in support of the Association positions, as well as his authorship of AB 498, legislation to address reimbursement rates for District Hospitals.  Additionally, Assemblymember Chávez was very engaged with the Healthcare Districts represented by his Assembly District.  He provided the

Assemblymember Chávez represents three Healthcare Districts – Fallbrook Healthcare District, Palomar Health, and Tri-City Healthcare District.
