I have been an employee at ACHD/ALPHA Fund since May 2002.
What is your role at ACHD/ALPHA Fund?
I have the privilege of serving this organization today as the Chief Executive Officer. Over the past 11 1/2 years I have also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
How did you first get involved in your career?
After graduating from college, I started my career with a large conglomerate as an accountant in their wholesale distribution business. After 10 years, numerous transfers around the country, and a leveraged buyout of the business segment, I assumed the role of Treasurer of the newly formed organization before moving on to various roles in Consumer Electronics manufacturing, Book Publishing and finally my roles here at ACHD/ALPHA Fund.
What is the best part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing our employees succeed in their endeavors. As a team, when one of us succeeds, we all succeed and I am proud to say we have a top notch team.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Maintaining an organization where employees are energized and engaged every day and the Participants/ Members understand the value of our services.
What is your favorite hobby outside of work?
Outside of work, the golf course is where I spend large blocks of time. I first started playing golf with my Dad when I was 11 or 12 and enjoyed it ever since. Beyond golf, I enjoy spending time with my family which is now spread across the country.
