As you can see, March, April and May will be a very busy time for the legislature, and for ACHD’s Legislative Team.  The Legislative Team’s time will be spent between policy and fiscal hearings, representing ACHD on various bills, and advocating on your behalf.  During this time, we may need your help sending letters or making calls to your legislators, so please be sure to check your email consistently for Legislative Alerts.

You may monitor ACHD’s legislative positions here, and obtain more detailed information on ACHD’s positions and letters by accessing MY ACHD

Furthermore, be sure to attend ACHD’s Annual Legislative Day.  During this event you will hear from the Legislative Team regarding high priority bills in greater detail.  This year’s Legislative Day is on April 7-8, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Sacramento.  If you have not yet registered, you can do so here

Please contact the Legislative Department if you have any questions.
